Each year our club works together to make a quilt to be given as the Grand Door Prize at our yearly show. This year we were given an applique snow cottage pattern to work with along with the fabric for the snow. Here is the result below, I think it turned out beautifully! I have a close up of the two squares my mother and I made before they became part of the quilt. 
This is the quilt square I made. I painted a gray kitty in my window and deer in my yard along with a few bare trees. I also painted the 'end of the logs' on my cabin fabric.
My mother wanted me to paint snowmen in the yard and a calico cat in her window.

Above is my mothers "Fancy Sue" quilt. She took 3rd place in the Viewers Choice Category.

The green and pink quilt below was part of our club Round Robin. My mother and I did the borders around the center design. I painted the hearts and folk art flowers around the center.
Above is another of my mothers quilts, Bear Paw. I think she won second place in this category.
I loved the animal print shoes and hats!
The quilt above is beautiful, it has such lovely colors. My camera didn't do it justice.
