Here is my card for the 1st week of the
Scripture Chalenge. The assignment was to
look up scripture using the word FAITH
and then design a card using the
word or attribute. I used Stampabilities

Stampin' Up's Bella Birds Designer Papers
along with the butterfly from SU stamp set
"Dreams du Jour."
It's Mojo Monday!
I love the sketches that have each monday morning
and I always look forward to seeing
what that come up with for the challenge.
Below is my version for the challenge card.
I used the Stampin' Up Designer Papers
Bella Birds, one of my favorite, and the
stamp set "Thoughts & Prayers". The
butterfly came from the set "Natural Beauty".

Summer By The Sea and Beautiful Beach

This is one of my favorite cards and stamp sets. I was
sad when Summer By the Sea was retired a few years ago.

I love the colors in this card. Cool Caribbean, an In Color,
is still a favorite, even though it has been retired.
I used white embossing on the shells.
The stamp set is another of retired SU sets,
Beautiful Beach.

Spring cards

The cards below were made using retired Stampin' Up
sets. I can't remember the names of them but I thought
you might enjoy seeing some spring cards.

March Demo Down-line Challenge

At our Demo down-line meeting, Karla, who is my up-line,
taught us how to do marbling on vellum. Our challenge was to
design a card using that technique and bring it back the
following month. Here is my card. I used the ink colors of
Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange and Pixie Pink for the
marbling process. My card stock is Barley Banana,
Pretty in Pink and Whisper White. I pulled out a retired
set, Time Well Spent to use on the card.
When I took my card to the meeting, I found out that Iva
was using the same set to teach her project that day and
she was usingsome of the same colors. It's true what they say,
"Great minds thing alike!"

April Demo Down-line Meeting

This month's meeting was a blast! It seems that
we were all thinking along the same lines and brought
the same stamp sets to the workshop LOL!
Ameldia used the Morning Soft SU set to teach
her card making skills. My sample is below.

Karla, my up-line, used the same set as our challenge card
for next month. We're to design a card using the crayon resist
technique. Below is the card I made with her, I'll post my
design for the challenge later. I have to make one first LOL!

Iva used the Time Well Spent set for her teaching demo
and you guessed it, below is the card I made with her.
I had chosen this stamp set to use for last months challenge.
Great minds think alike :o)

Barbara was the only original thinker in the bunch, she demoed

the Many Mower set, I used the golfer in the set on my card.

We always eat at our demo meetings and

Ameldia brought a dish called Copper Pennies.
