Time Well Spent

Here is another oldie but a goodie
I think I have posted several cards using this set,
but when I came across these today, I just had to share.
I hope you enjoy another version of "Time Well Spent,"
a retired set from Stampin' Up!

Class Projects - May 14th

This weeks stamp sets were
Just Buzzin' By and Under the Stars
by Stampin' Up! My ideas for this class came from
Splitcoast Stampers. I only tweaked them here and there.

Both of these sets are darling and I plan to do a class
using Under the Stars with Hit the Road
later this summer.

I got a little behind in posting my classes

due to an incompatibility problem with my camera

and my computer causing these photos to be posted

a week late! :o/

May 21st Class Projects

As I was rearranging my stamp room, I came across
one of my favorite stamp sets. It is a retired Hostess
set from Stampin' Up! called "Basket Full of Fun".
I just had to dust it off and use it again.
This first card was made using Baja Breeze and
the Designer series papers, Hand Drawn
by Stampin' Up!
The Christmas card below uses, Riding Hood Red,
Sage Shadow and Designer Series Paper left over from
two Christmas' ago.

I used So Saffron, Olive Green and Riding Hood

Red card stock and inks on the Autumn leaf card.

Bella Rosa Designer Paper, Riding Hood Red
and Whisper White are used in the summer card.
This card and the one above are my two personal favorite.

Designer paper from the Dot's & Dashes line

is used with So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Whisper White

to create this spring design. Also used was the

Certainly Celery ribbon and the Eyelet Border punch.

Fruit of the Spirit Scrapbook

I'm doing a wonderful Bible Study/Scrapbooking study
on Christian Paper Crafts Magazine. The first week our
assignment was to design a cover page for the study.

On Week 2 our study was on the first fruit, love.
The assignment was to do a page showing love.
I decided to make my book about my grand children,
because what Grammy doesn't love her grandbabies?
All 5 of my grandkids are shown on the 2 8X8 love pages.
Above are my son's children Jake and Hayley
below are my daughter's children,
Savannah, Cassidy and Jamison.
Week 3 was the fruit of Joy, Savannah, my first
grandbaby is featured with an apple themed
2 page layout.

I used the sketch from MoJo Monday in Savannah's layout.
Next week, we will study the fruit of Peace
and Cassidy's layout will be with pears.
Until then, Happy Scrappin'

Works Magazine. The colors were
Basic Black, Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze

Class Projects

It's been awhile since my last post. I caught
a little bug, then the computer caught a bug
and to top it all off, my mother had to have a
stint replaced. Things are starting to get
back to normal around here but it feels like it's
been eons since my last post!

Below are some cards and holders we made in
today class using the Oval All stamp set
by Stampin' Up! and their scallop oval punch.
I was also trying to use up my Raspberry
Tart Designer Series Paper.

Same card holder, just a different sheet
of the Raspberry Tart paper.

Now for the cards that fill the holders.

The card below is made using the other side
of the paper above and the card is turned
to a landscape position.

The next two cards are made with torn paper.
