Birthday Cards

Here is a Pop-Up card that I made for our down-line challenge using the Crazy for Cupcakes SU
stamp set.Below are 4 cards that we made in my Thursday class. The next week I featured the large cupcake in the set for the class, but I'm afraid that those cards got away before I got pictures of them.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Here are my St. Paddy's Day cards and dimensional items that were made in my Bit O' the Green stamping event. I loved using all the punches to make the leprechauns and gold coins. These little guys were the hit of the workshop. Below is the card I made for my "Pop-Up Card Challenge"

1 3/8" & 1" Circle punches, Scallop Circle, Small Tag punch and the Word Window punch are used to create the Leprechauns.

I found theses gold Chinese take-out boxes at the Dollar Tree (two in a package) and knew they would be perfect to hold St. Paddy's Day treats of Peppermint Paddies.

This little guy is my own design, he needed a rounded hat to fit on the card. He is made using the 1 3/4" Circle punch and his nose is a 1" circle. The brim of his hat is two word window punches.
I cut out a large circle and then cut off the top to make the pot. The legs are 1" circles, the rim is two word windows and the gold is made using the 3/4" circle punch and More Mustard card stock from Stampin' Up. After I punched the gold, I antiqued the edges using Really Rust in my Stampin' Pastels.

Another Dollar Tree find was the breath mints, they came eight in a package for a dollar and make a cute little teacher gift.

Sing A Song of Spring
The little birds below were made using discontinued Stampin' Up Designer Papers and little wooden birds that I found at Michael's Craft Store. Twelve came in a package and I think I paid around $2.99 or $3.99 for the package.

Valentine's Day Workshop

Now that I have a new camera, I've got several things to share with you. Here are some of the things we made at my all day Valentine's Stampin' Up event. Above is the Always Be Mine banner made using the Always stamp set and chipboard coasters.

This picture is of a covered conversational heart box. The card stock used is Pink Pirouette and white, the ink is Pink Pirouette for the Love wheel and Riding Hood Red for the stamps.

Another candy ideal but this one is chocolate!
I used the Love wheel on a sheet of return address labels, then peeled and stuck them onto the mini chocolate bars and placed them in the decorated tin and added the decorative belly band.

Below is a stair step card and a heart puzzle card.

Well, I tried to get my Valentine things up early but my camera is not working! All the wonderful things I've taken pictures of, will not transfer and the card reads as empty!! I had photos of the stair step challenge we brought to our demonstrators training meeting last Saturday. (Beautiful Cards) I had pictures of my Valentine Workshop samples and several weeks worth of class projects to show you, but they are all gone, poof! Bummer :o\ I'm highly ticked right now! Well, I guess I'll be going camera shopping tonight.

Christmas Holiday Fun

Here are a few of the projects featured in my Christmas Stampin' Up Workshop. The 6X4 mini accordion album is just perfect for adding those favorite photos and giving as a gift to your special family members and friends. Grammies especially like to find this in their stocking, I know I'm a Grammy ;o)

This little elf boot can be filled with candy and used as a center piece or given as a gift. I filled it with candy canes and kept it sitting on my buffet during the Christmas season. I ended up making several of the birdhouse ornaments. I changed out the design a little and alternated Glorious Green ink on the house with a Real Red roof and floor and then did the opposite using the Glorious Green card stock as the roof and floor with the Real Red ink on the house. The pouch that is at the bottom is Magic Reindeer Food.

The plum pudding box was a real hit at the workshop. It could also be made as a cupcake to hold birthday party favors. An acrylic photo holder and sticky notes were used to make a note pad. I loved the Santa Hershey bar idea and so did the class. In January I will be hosting a Valentine Workshop. I hope to get my projects posted before Valentine's Day.

I would like to give special thanks to Valita for allowing me to use her elf boot and plum pudding designs. You can view all her wonderful creations on her blog Valita's Designs and Fresh Folds listed in my favorites.
