Time Well Spent

Here is another oldie but a goodie
I think I have posted several cards using this set,
but when I came across these today, I just had to share.
I hope you enjoy another version of "Time Well Spent,"
a retired set from Stampin' Up!

Stamp each day with God's love,

March Demo Down-line Challenge

At our Demo down-line meeting, Karla, who is my up-line,
taught us how to do marbling on vellum. Our challenge was to
design a card using that technique and bring it back the
following month. Here is my card. I used the ink colors of
Yoyo Yellow, Only Orange and Pixie Pink for the
marbling process. My card stock is Barley Banana,
Pretty in Pink and Whisper White. I pulled out a retired
set, Time Well Spent to use on the card.
When I took my card to the meeting, I found out that Iva
was using the same set to teach her project that day and
she was usingsome of the same colors. It's true what they say,
"Great minds thing alike!"

April Demo Down-line Meeting

This month's meeting was a blast! It seems that
we were all thinking along the same lines and brought
the same stamp sets to the workshop LOL!
Ameldia used the Morning Soft SU set to teach
her card making skills. My sample is below.

Karla, my up-line, used the same set as our challenge card
for next month. We're to design a card using the crayon resist
technique. Below is the card I made with her, I'll post my
design for the challenge later. I have to make one first LOL!

Iva used the Time Well Spent set for her teaching demo
and you guessed it, below is the card I made with her.
I had chosen this stamp set to use for last months challenge.
Great minds think alike :o)

Barbara was the only original thinker in the bunch, she demoed

the Many Mower set, I used the golfer in the set on my card.

We always eat at our demo meetings and

Ameldia brought a dish called Copper Pennies.

We all loved it and I thought I would share it with you.

Below is the recipe.

Easter Stampin' Event

The third Saturday of each month I host an all day
stampin' event at my house. This month was
an Easter theme, as you can see
by the things on my buffet.
These cards were made by using punches
and die cuts.

I like the funny bunny but the little lamb
below is probable my favorite.
The lamb could also be used
as a sweet baby card and would also
be cute in pink.

The magnetic refrigerator clip using the
A Good Egg stamp set holds a
photo of three of my five grand babies.

The clip board was fun to make and it will be
going to my daughter's house to
help her keep up with her busy schedule.

The following post features several of the non-card
items we made in my Easter workshop.
I hope you enjoy looking at
our Easter creations.
